What about riding a bike?
Call some friends, pick a place to go and get your bike!
A friend of mine loves riding a bike to burn calories and she’s always trying to convince us to go with her by talking about all the benefits this simple exercise brings to our bodies. And she’s right!
Just think about it:
- It’s an outdoor sport which is great to take time and appreciate beautiful landscapes that we don’t really see during our daily activities;
- It stmiulates vitamin D;
- It can be practiced individually or in groups;
- Funny and healthy at the same time.
So, what do you think? If you intend to embrace the idea do never forget to take a bottle of water with you, have sun block on and warm up before and after the activity!
I’ve got a confession to make:
After some months, I finally decided to return posting things here and what helped me taking this decision was the quantity of reblogs and likes on the stuff. Thanks, everyone!
I gave up on my diet. I put on weight.
Today I really felt that I need this blog to help other peole but me and here I am going back to trying to be healthy and in shape.
Once again, thanks!
Well, the title says a lot for the post and I’ll be quick on it: I’m putting on weight.
Yes, I have been eating way too much these past weeks and I don’t even know why. I’m baking a lot, too… But I decided to restart this diet in combination with more strict attitudes: no sweets, no soda and no junk.
I always have dessert after my meals, but now I’ll have to learn how to live without it. I mean, I’ll give myself the right to consume a medium chocolate bar for every 11lbs lost along this new diet.
Wish me luck!
Flutters.. oh, I need to eat!
How are you? I hope you’re all fine or, at least, better than I am..
So, tomorrow I’ll be taking my driving test and I’m not feeling any confident about it because I failed the first time and now, I’m afraid I’ll fail again.
Because of that, I have these flutters and holding them means eating candies wildly. Only today, I had like more than 6 spoons of nutella and I feel like having more.
Oh! You make me so weak!
So, yesterday I began exercising and all I can state is: ‘every inch of my body hurts’. Ok, not that much. But I did start and this will surely make my diet have a better and faster effect instead of only controling my food intake.
If you plan on starting to work out, do it slightly and then get the intensity up slowly. It is important to warm your body up before and after the exercises, otherwise you’ll feel pain like I am right now.
Also, try not to train everyday right at the beginnning because your body is not used to that, however, it is recommended to exercise at least three times a week! So my advice is: intercalate these days, you’ll probably have a better performance and feel less tired.
Diet has barely started and everyday it’s getting harder and harder to avoid these delicious foods! Oh God, I can’t even look!
That’s one more topic we have to be careful when dieting!
Resisting to all the sweets and junk foods is one of the worst things in the world, mainly when you appreciate eating and I do. But here’s my thought: if I just drop it now, I’ll be able to consume all I want with no guilty and carefully later.
It’s not that easy all the time, but we get used to it along the way. It may be hard now, but we’ll be rewarded soon!
